ROBUST AND EFFICIENT PERFORMANCE
The 1.5-litre DUALJET engine delivers high efficiency, low emissions, strong output and torque. Dual injectors are placed close to the intake valves for injecting atomised fuel and the compression ratio is raised for efficient fuel combustion, the combustion temperatures are lowered and pumping loss is reduced by the cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, and adoption of roller rocker arms for valve lifters reduces frictional speed.

If Electronic Stability Programme (ESP®) detects wheel slippage when the driver turns the steering wheel sharply and/or the road is slippery, for example, it automatically adjusts the engine torque and brakes to suppress the wheel slippage and help the driver stay in directional control.
A hill hold control function makes hill start easier by preventing the car from rolling backward for up to two seconds when the driver moves his or her foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.
On tricky descents, the system is designed to automatically apply the brakes and maintain a fixed speed so you can concentrate on steering without using the brake pedal
